A casting tax invoice PDF: company and client details, items, gold, silver and cash cards, CGST and SGST, round-off and amount in words

Same state or other state, worked out for you

These examples use the rates pre-filled in a new company. Your own rates come from your settings.

Casting order, client in your state (GST at 5 %)
Labour and job charge₹600.00
CGST 2.5 %₹15.00
SGST 2.5 %₹15.00
Round-off₹0.00
Invoice total₹630.00
CPX order, client in another state (GST at 18 %)
Taxable value₹932.70
IGST 18 %₹167.89
Before round-off₹1,100.59
Round-off+₹0.41
Invoice total₹1,101.00

Amount in words, Indian style: “Indian Rupees One Thousand One Hundred One Only”. The round-off can also go down, for example ₹132.40 becomes ₹132.00 with a round-off of −₹0.40.

Everything a tax invoice needs

  • Your details and the client’s. Legal name, address, GSTIN and state for both sides, copied when the order is saved, so later edits never change an old invoice.

  • Place of supply and SAC. The client’s state as place of supply, and the SAC code from your settings.

  • Taxable value, GST, round-off. CGST and SGST or IGST with rate and amount, the round-off line and the total in figures and in words.

  • Bank details, terms and signatory. Printed from your settings at the end of every tax invoice.

Numbers you can rely on

  • Gap-free numbers per financial year. INV/26-27/0001, INV/26-27/0002 and so on, from April to March in Indian Standard Time. A number is taken only when the order is saved, so a failed save never leaves a gap.

  • Estimates stay estimates. An order saved without GST prints as “Estimate / Delivery Challan” and can never become a tax invoice later. A correction is a cancellation and a new order.

GST invoice questions

When does an order get CGST and SGST, and when IGST?

The place of supply is the client’s state. If it is the same as your company’s state, the invoice has CGST and SGST at half the rate each; if it is another state, it has IGST at the full rate.

Is GST charged on the metal?

No. GST is added only to rupee charges: CPX amounts, labour, job charge, DIE charge and extra charges. The fine gold and silver on an order are never taxed by Parthavix.

Which GST rate and SAC code does it use?

The ones in your settings, set separately for CPX and casting. They come pre-filled and should be confirmed with your CA. Parthavix does not give tax advice.

Can I issue a tax invoice to a client without a GSTIN?

Yes. A client GSTIN is optional. A tax invoice does need your company GSTIN and the client’s billing address, and the order form tells you if either is missing.

How are invoices numbered?

Tax invoices from both modules share one gap-free series per financial year, such as INV/26-27/0001. The order also keeps its own CPX or CST number. A cancelled invoice keeps its number and prints as CANCELLED.
