Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

This policy explains how Parthavix (“Parthavix”, “we”, “us”), Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, handles personal data. It covers both:

  • the website https://parthavix.com (this site), and
  • the Parthavix app at https://app.parthavix.com, web software for jewellery manufacturing units.

It is written for India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).

Who is responsible

For the data needed to run your account (your name, email and company details) and for the data this website handles, we are the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.

For the data you enter in the app about your own clients and staff, your business is the Data Fiduciary. We process that data only on your behalf and on your instructions, as a Data Processor.

The website

The website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It sets no cookies and loads no scripts, fonts or other files from other companies.

  • Theme choice. If you pick a light or dark theme with the switch at the top of the page, your browser keeps that choice in its local storage on your own device, under the name “theme”. It is never sent to us. Choosing “System” removes it.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, for example to ask for early access, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.
  • Server logs. The server that delivers this site records basic technical details of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser’s user agent. They are used to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted after a limited period.

What the app collects

  • Your account: name, email address and password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash; we cannot read it.
  • Your company: display and legal name, address, phone, email, GSTIN, state, bank account details, invoice terms, signatory name and logo.
  • Your staff: the name, email address and role of each person you invite.
  • Your clients: the details you enter, such as name, mobile number, email, GSTIN, state and billing address.
  • Your business records: orders, ledger entries, receipts, payments and the PDFs made from them.
  • Technical data: the IP address of requests (used to limit repeated login and sign-up attempts and to protect the service), the time of your last login, and a record of changes to settings and staff accounts.

Why we use it

  • To provide the service you signed up for and keep your records.
  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To send emails the service needs: email verification, password reset and staff invitations.
  • To prevent abuse, investigate problems and keep the service running.
  • To meet our obligations under Indian law.

We do not sell personal data, show advertising or build profiles of you or your clients. We process personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as providing a service you have asked for and complying with the law.

Cookies and browser storage in the app

The app uses only what it needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and your theme choice, kept in your browser’s local storage. It uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies or scripts, which is why neither the app nor this website shows a cookie banner.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Parthavix, such as hosting and email delivery, under terms that require them to protect the data and use it only for us; and with authorities when Indian law requires it. The hosting provider and the country where app data is stored will be named here before the app opens to customers.

How long we keep it

We keep app data while your account is active. If you ask us in writing, at support@parthavix.com, to delete your account and its data, we delete it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep something for longer. Copies in our backups are removed as the backups are replaced, within the same period.

Each business that uses Parthavix remains responsible for keeping its own GST and accounting records for as long as the law requires. Please download the invoices and statements you need before asking for deletion.

How we protect it

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and the website and the app.
  • Passwords stored only as hashes; limits on repeated login attempts.
  • Access by role: staff never see client balances, and each company sees only its own data.
  • Ledger entries that cannot be changed or deleted, and a log of settings changes.
  • Regular backups of app data.

If a personal data breach happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected as the DPDP Act requires.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we process about you and how;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot do so;
  • address a grievance about how we handle your data.

You may withdraw your consent at any time; we will then stop processing and close your account, which means you can no longer use the app.

If your data was entered in the app by a business that uses Parthavix (for example, you are one of its clients or staff), please contact that business first; we will help it answer your request.

Children

The website and the app are meant for businesses and are not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children.

Grievance officer

For any question, request or complaint about personal data, write to the Grievance Officer, Parthavix, at support@parthavix.com, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We will reply within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. For important changes we will also tell app account owners by email or in the app. General questions: support@parthavix.com or the contact page.
